Galaxy Audio

Galaxy Audio was started by Brock Jabara and Jim Pearce back in 1977.
In 1969 Superior Sound was established as a sound rental company, operated by Brock Jabara and his partner Jim Pearce. Their rental products flanked the stages of concert halls and arenas all over the country, providing sound for Aretha Franklin, The Bee Gees, Janis Joplin, James Brown, and countless others.
In the same year, Brock and Jim developed the Hot Spot Personal Monitor. It was immediately a hit among club and touring musicians. It was obvious that with some refinement, the new products could fill a long-standing void in the marketplace. Superior Sound began to evolve from a speaker rental company to a speaker manufacturing company. In 1977 Galaxy Audio was born.
In 2010, we brought out all-new redesigned versions of the Hot Spot, the HS7, and the PA6S. The HS7 is named for our 7th major design change of the Hot Spot passive cabinet and the PA6S is the new Powered Hot Spot featuring a 2-way system with a 6.5" woofer.
Galaxy Audio has expanded into many new product categories over the past few years, and our business is doing well. We have experienced growth in areas we never expected. Wireless Personal Monitors and Wireless Microphones have done well, in addition to our Lightweight Earset/Headset and Traveler Series Speakers.
We appreciate everyone who has supported us over the years. We hope to provide great products and service for many years to come.
